Almost four years ago at age 17, Marco Tulio Flores confessed to killing the man who sexually abused him as a boy by strangling him with a dog chain at his Boston apartment in May 2011.
After killing Jaime Galdamez and recording it on video, Flores doused his abuser's body with lighter fluid and set it ablaze after removing computers loaded with child pornography from the home.
Flores, who confessed to killing the older man and then pleaded pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter, spoke out from his home at Souza-Baranowski maximum security prison.

ShareThe 21-year-old, who was sentenced to 15 years in prison, followed by 15 years of probation, decided to take justice into his own hands because he believed his nephew was in danger from Galdamez and that killing him was the only way to get rid of the threat, the Boston Globe reported.
The El Salvador native, who will be in prison until he is 32 and will likely be deported upon his release, has few regrets over what he did to the man everyone regarded as a family friend.

He said: 'Killing someone is never worth it.
'But I don't feel bad for him. I feel he was a very bad person. It's not like he tried to seek help.
'He chose to do it. I'm not saying I don't have remorse. But I don't feel sad for him passing away.'
Before the 2011 killing, Flores saw a photo of his nephew at Galdamez's illegal basement apartment.
Remembering his own abuse and not wanting to let it happen to anyone else, Flores armed himself with a knife, the dog chain and video camera.
In the video he made, Flores confronted the older man about the abuse and got him to admit what he had done.
Galdamez confessed: 'I am a person who loved you, that's all. I swear. I never hurt you. I never mistreated you.
'I had sex with you.'

After getting the confession on tape, Flores duct-taped Galdamez's face and wrists and brought him in front of a mirror before using the dog chain to strangle him.
The teenager confessed to the killing at the East Boston Police Station the following day.
It was the first time he ever spoke of the abuse he endured at the hands of Galdamez.
Authorities pored over the evidence, including hundreds of images and videos of ten- to 13-year-old boys and 50,000 lines of encrypted chat on the hard drive of the dead man's computer, and offered the plea deal so a first-degree murder trial could be avoided.
Suffolk District Attorney Daniel Conley said at the time of the 2013 sentencing: 'This was a just resolution to an utterly tragic case.
'It provides accountability for a life that was taken cruelly, but it also recognizes the strong mitigating factors and the potential outcomes at trial.'
